BISMILLAH HIR RAHMAN NIR RAHEEM.

 Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu 

EK AYAH EK DIN MEIN

    LESSON NO:- 2⃣

🔻 Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ

AL-FATIHAH KO UMM AL-KITAAB KEHNA KI WAJEH

Apne ne Sahih Al-Bukhari mein farmaya; “Isey Umm Al-Kitaab kehte hai, kyun ki Qur’an isi sey shuru hoti hai aur kyun ke Salah(Namaz) bhi isi ki tilawath se shuru hoti hai. “

Arab har ek jama ke masail jo tarah tarah ke maqsus ilaqe(mazmun) mein  rakha karte the, use Umm kehte hai. Maslan, dimaag ke eteraaf cover karne wale jild(skin) ko Umm Ar-Ra’s , Makkah ko Umm Al-Qura, ( gaaon(ilaaqon) ki maa) kyun ke Makkah , sabse shaandaar aur saare gooan ka sardar hai.

Imam Ahmad ne record  kiya ki Abu Hurayrah bayaan  karte hai Umm Al-Qur’an ke baare mein Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ne farmaya hai,

هِيَ أُمُّ الْقُرْآنِ وَهِيَ السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي وَهِيَ الْقُرْآنُ الْعَظِيمُ»

( Yeh Umm Al-Qur’an hai, saath(7) dauraahe hue ayah aur Qur’an Al-Kareem)

AL-FATIHAH KE KHOOBIYAN

Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal ne record kiya , Musnad mein ke Sa”id bin Al- Mu’alla ne kaha,

” Main ibadat kar raha tha, jab Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ne mujhe bulaya, maine App ko jawab nahi diya , jab tak ke maine meri namaz mukammal na ki. Phir maine Aap ke paas gaya aur Aap ne mujse pucha, (” Tumhe aane se kya rok rakha  tha?).  Maine kaha, “.O Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ! Main Namaz padh raha tha.” Aap ne kaha, (” Kya Allah(swt) ne nahi kaha), (.Aye Imaan walon! Jawab do  Allah(swt) ko ( Unki farmabardari karke) aur Uske  Paigamber ko, jab woh tumhe bulaaye uski taraf jo tumhe zindagi ata karta hai. Aap ne kaha, 🏻(” Main tumhe  Qur’an se Bada Surah sikhaaunga , aap  Masjid se ruksat lene se pahele.” ) Aap ne mera haath pakda aur jab Woh Masjid se ruksat lenewale the, maine kaha, ” Aye Rasool ( SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ! Aap ne kaha tha ke Aap mujhe Qur’an mein ka Sabse bada aur shaandar Surah sikhaaenge.” Aap ne kaha, 🏻(” Haan. ﴿الْحَمْدُ للَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَـلَمِينَ ﴾Al-Hamdu lillahi Rabbil-‘Alamin)”

“(Yeh saath(7) dauraahe hue ayaah aur Qur’an Al -Kareem hai jo mujhe diye gaye)”

Al-Bukhari ne record kiya ki Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri ne kaha, “Ek baar, hum safar par the, jab ek  gulaam aurat  aayi aur kaha, ‘ Hamare elaaqe ke sardar ko zehar diya gaya hai, aur hamare log bahar gaye hue hai. Aap log mein koi hakeem maujuud gai?’ Tab ek shaks utha , jiske ilaaj mein ham yaqeen nahi rakte the, woh us aurat ki madad ke liye utha, Usne Ruqyah padhi us sardar ke liye, aur woh theek ho gaya. Woh sardar ne us shaks ko bees(20) bakriya(dumbe) , inaam ki taur par diya aur thoda doodh. Jab woh shaks wapas aaya , humlog ne kaha’ Kya tumhe koi nayi Ruqyah pata hai, ya tumne pahele bhi aisa kiya hai?” Usne kaha,” maine toh sirf Umm Al-Kitaab , Ruqyah ki taur par padhi hai.” Hum ne kaha, ” Aage kuch na karna jabtak ke humne Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) se zikr na kiya ho.” Jab hum sab wapas Al-Madinah laute, humne us baat ka zikr Rasool (SalAlkahu alaihi wa sallam) se kiya. Aap ne kaha, 🏻(” use kisne kaha ke woh Ruqyah hai. Baant do( bakriyon) ko aur mere hissa bhi alag kardey.)”

Iske alawa , Muslim ne bhi Sahih mein ise bayaan kiya aur Ab-Nasa’i , apneSunan mein ki Ibn Abbas ne kaha, ” Hab jibrail(alaihi salaam) , Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ke saath the, unhone ek awaaz upar se suni. Jibrail(alaihi salaam) ne apni nazar , aasmaan ki taraf ki aur kaha, ” yeh Jannat mein darwaza khulne ki awaaz hai, aur yeh issey pahele kabhie nahi khula.” Ek farishta us darwaaze se uthra  aur Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ke paas aya aur kaha, ” Aap do(2) achi khabrey (news) qubool farmaaye, jo Aap ko ata ki gayi hai, issey pahele kisi bhi Paigamber ko ata nahi ki gayi: Al-Kitaab ki shuruaath aur aakhri  theen(3) ayat Surah Al-Baqarah ke. Aap uska ek alfaaz bhi nahi padoge, lekin uske faaydeh haasil karoge.”

AL-FATIHAH AUR NAMAZ

Muslim ne record kiya ki Abu Hurayrah kahte hai ki Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ne farmaya, 🏻( “Jo koi Namaz ada karega jis mein , usne Umm Al-Qur’an na padha ho, toh uski Namaz mukammal nahi hogi”) . Aap ne aisa theen (3) baar kaha.

Abu Hurayrah se pucha gaya, ” Agar hum Imam ke peeche tehre rahe toh?”. Unhone kaha, ” Apne aap mein padha karo, main ne Rasool ( SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ko kehte hue suna,

🏻”Allah(swt) , jo bada Galib hai, ne farmaya, ” maine Salah ko (Al-Fatihah) ko do hisson mein takseem kiya, Mere aur Mere bandey ke beech, aur mere bandey ko woh ata hoga   jo woh chahta hai.”

Agar woh kahega,

﴿الْحَمْدُ للَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَـلَمِين

(Saari tareefen aur shukr us Khuda ke liye , jo saari maqluqaath ka Rab hai) Allah(swt) kehte hai, ” Mere bandey ne mere hamd( tareef) ki hai.”

َJab banda kehta hai
﴿الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴾ (
(Bada Meherbaan aur Bada Rahmatwala)
Allah (swt) kehte hai: mere bandey ne Meri tareef ki hai.’

Jab woh kehta hai
مَـلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
(Jaza(Insaaf)  ke din ka Maalik,) Allah (swt) kehte hai,” Mere bandey Meri hamd ki, ” ya “Mere Bandey ne har baat ka zikr mujse kiya,”

Jab woh kehta hai
﴿إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ﴾
(Aye Allah) hum teri hi ibadat  karte hai aur tujse hi madad chahte  hai.”
Allah(swt) kehte hai,” Yeh Mere aur Mere bsndey ke beech mein hai, sur Mere banda eoh haasil karega jo woh chahta hai’

Kya woh kehta hai,
﴿اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ – صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّآلِّينَ ﴾
(“Hame seedha raasta dekha. Un logon ka raasta jinpar tune inaam farmaya. Un logon ka nahi jin par gazab (azaab) kiya gaya hai aur nahi gumraahaon ka. “)
Allah(swt) says ,” yeh mere bandey ke liye hai aur mera banda woh paayega , jo wo maangta hai.”

SURAH AL-FATIHAH KI TILAWATH NAMAZ KE HAR RAKATH  MEIN  ZARORI  HAI

Yeh saare haqeeqath saabith karte hai ki Surah Al-Fatihah ki tilawath  Salah mein zaruri hai, aur ulema saare  is baat par  itefaaq raay rakte hai. .

Aur , Do Sahih ne yeh darj(record) kiya hai ki ‘Ubadah bin As-Samit ne kaha ki, Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ne farmaya 🏻( ” Aisi koi namaz nahi hai jismein Umm Al-Kitaab ki tilawath na ho)

Is silsile mein bahuth saare Hadith maujuud hai. Isliye Namaz /Salah ke dauran Umm-Al Kitaab ki tilawath ki jaati  hai. Aur Namaz ke dauran Imaam ko aur unke peeche tehre lig ki bhi har Namaz mein aur har Rak-ah mein padhna zaruri hai.

Allah(swt) behtar jaanta hai.

       LESSON NO : 1⃣

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم

AL FATIHAH KE MAANEY AUR USKE ALAG ALAG NAAM

Is surat ka naam surah Fatiha hai. Fatiha kehte hai shuru karnewali ko.Yeh  Kitaab ki shuruwaath  hai, surah jisse ibadat shuru ki jaati hai. Isey , kayi ulema ke mutaabiq Umm Al-Kitaab (Kitaab ki maa) bhi kaha jaata hai,

Ek tasdeeqi hadith mein At Tirmidhi ne Sahih tasdeeq karte hue bayaan kiya,  Abu Hurayrah ne farmaya ki Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ne kaha,

الْحَمْدُ للهِ رَبَ الْعَالَمِينَ أُمُّ الْقُرْآنِ وَأُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَالسَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنُ الْعَظِيمُ»

(Al-Hamdu lillahi Rabbil-‘Alamin,  Umm Al-Kitaab hai, Kitaab ki Maa, aur  Qur’an Al -Kareem ke saath(7) dohraaye hue Ayat)

Isko Al-Hamd aur As-Salah bhi kaha jaata hai, kyun ki Rasool (SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ne kaha ki , mere Rab ne kaha,

«قَسَمْتُ الصَّلَاةَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي نِصْفَيْنِ، فَإِذَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ:الْحَمْدُدِلله رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، قَالَ اللهُ: حَمِدَنِي عَبْدِي»

(Al- Hamd ( Al-Fatiha) ko do(2) hisson mein takseem kiya gaya hai, ‘Main aur Mere bandey.’ Jab bandey (gulaam) kehte hai, “Tamaam tareefen Allah(swt) ke liye, jo tamaam maqluqaath ka Maalik hai,” Allah(swt) kehte hai,” Mere bandey ne meri hamd(tareef) ki hai. Al -Fatiha ko As-Salah kehte hai kyun ki , iski tilawath , Salah- namaz ki sahi hone ki sharth hai. Al-Fatiha ko As-Shifa (ilaaj) bhi kehte hai.

Al-Fatiha ko Ar-Ruqyah (ilaaj) kehte hai, kyunki Sahih mein, Abu Sa’id ka bayaan hai , jinhone apni ek Sahabi ki kahani  ka zikr kiya jo Al-Fatiha ko , ek qabile ke sardaar ke zeher ko dur karne ke liye istemaal kiya. Baad mein, Rasool(SalAllahu alaihi wa sallam) ne apne Sahabiyon se kaha,

وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ أَنَّهَا رُقْيَةٌ»

(Tumhe kaise pata ke yeh Ruqyah hai?)

Al-Fatiha , Makkah mein naazil hui, ‘Abbas , Qatadah aur Abu Al-Aliyah ne farmaya,
Allah(swt) kehte hai

وَلَقَدْ ءاتَيْنَـكَ سَبْعًا مِّنَ الْمَثَانِي﴾

(Aur beshaque; humne ,aap par saath(7) Mathani ata kiya hai) (Saath(7) doraheye hue ayat) ( yaane Surah Al-Fatiha) (15:87).

Allah(swt) beheter jaanta hai.

AN AYAH A DAY
    
      LESSON 11

       بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ

 مَـلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ 

 . The Owner of the Day of Recompense.

INDICATING SOVEREIGNTY ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT

🔹Allah SWT mentioned His sovereignty of the Day of Resurrection, but this does not negate His sovereignty over all other things. For Allah SWT mentioned that He is the Lord of existence, including this earthly life and the Hereafter. Allah SWT only mentioned the Day of Recompense here because on that Day, no one except Him will be able to claim ownership of anything whatsoever.

On that Day, no one will be allowed to speak without His permission. Similarly, Allah SWT said,  (The Day that Ar-Ruh (Jibril (Gabriel) or another angel) and the angels will stand forth in rows, they will not speak except him whom the Most Gracious (Allah) allows, and he will speak what is right.) (78:38),

(And all voices will be humbled for the Most Gracious (Allah), and nothing shall you hear but the low voice of their footsteps.)(20:108), and,

(On the Day when it comes, no person shall speak except by His (Allah’s) leave. Some among them will be wretched and (others) blessed)(11:105).

🔹`On that Day, no one owns anything that they used to own in the world.”’

THE MEANING OF YAWM UD DIN

🔹Ibn `Abbas RA said, “Yawm Ad-Din is the Day of Recompense for the creatures, meaning the Day of Judgment. On that Day, Allah SWT  will reckon the creation for their deeds, evil for evil, good for good, except for those whom He pardons.”

ALLAH IS AL MALIK (KING OR OWNER)

Allah SWT is the True Owner (Malik) (of everything and everyone). Allah SWT said,(He is Allah, beside Whom La ilaha illa Huwa, the King, the Holy, the One free from all defects) (59:23).

🔹Also, the Two Sahihs recorded Abu Hurayrah RA  saying that the Prophet Muhammad SAW said,  (The most despicable name to Allah SWT  is a person who calls himself the king of kings, while there are no owners except Allah.)

🔹Also the Two Sahihs recorded that the Messenger of Allah SAW  said, ((On the Day of Judgement) Allah will grasp the earth and fold up the heavens with His Right Hand and proclaim, ‘I Am the King! Where are the kings of the earth Where are the tyrants Where are the arrogant’)

Also, in the  Glorious Qur’an; (Whose is the kingdom this Day Allah’s, the One, the Irresistible.)(40:16).

🔹As for calling someone other than Allah SWT a king in this life, then it is done as a figure of speech. For instance, Allah SWT said,  (Indeed Allah appointed Talut (Saul) as a king over you.) (2:247), (As there was a king behind them)(18:79), and, When He made Prophets among you, and made you kings (5:20).

🔹Also, the Two Sahihs recorded, (Just like kings reclining on their thrones)

THE MEANING OF AD-DIN

🔹Ad-Din means the reckoning, the reward or punishment. Similarly, Allah SWT said, (On that Day Allah will pay them the (Dinahum) recompense (of their deeds) in full) (24:25), and,

(Shall we indeed (be raised up) to receive reward or punishment (according to our deeds)) (37:53).

A Hadith stated,   (The wise person is he who reckons himself and works for (his life) after death.) meaning, he holds himself accountable. Also, `Umar RA  said, “Hold yourself accountable before you are held accountable, weigh yourselves before you are weighed, and be prepared for the biggest gathering before He Whose knowledge encompasses your deeds,

 (That Day shall you be brought to Judgement, not a secret of yours will be hidden) (69:18).”

AN AYAH A DAY
    
      LESSON 10

       بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ

THE MEANING OF AR-RABB, THE LORD

🔹Ar-Rabb is the owner who has full authority over his property. Ar-Rabb, linguistically means, the master or the one who has the authority to lead. All of these meanings are correct for Allah. When it is alone, the word Rabb is used only for Allah. As for other than Allah, it can be used to say Rabb Ad-Dar, the master of such and such object. Further, it was reported that Ar-Rabb is Allah’s Greatest Name.

THE MEANING OF AL-‘ALAMIN

🔹Al-`Alamin is plural for `Alam, which encompasses everything in existence except Allah. The word `Alam is itself a plural word, having no singular form. The `Alamin are different creations that exist in the heavens and the earth, on land and at sea. Every generation of creation is called an `Alam. ﴿رَبِّ الْعَـلَمِينَ﴾  (The Lord of the `Alamin), “Every type of creation is an `Alam.”Alam encompasses everything that Allah created, in this life and in the Hereafter.”

 🔹Al-Qurtubi commented, “This is the correct meaning, that the `Alam encompasses everything that Allah created in both worlds. Similarly, Allah said,  (Fir`awn (Pharaoh) said: “And what is the Lord of the `Alamin” Musa  (Moses) AS said: “The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty”) (26:23

WHY IS THE CREATION CALLED ‘ALAM

🔹`Alam is derived from `Alamah, that is because it is a sign testifying to the existence of its Creator and to His Oneness.”

 ﴿الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴾  

(3. Ar-Rahman (the Most Gracious), Ar-Rahim (the Most Merciful)).

🔹Al-Qurtubi said, “Allah SWT has described Himself by `Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim’ after saying `the Lord of the Alamin’, so His statement here includes a warning, and then an encouragement. Similarly, Allah SWT  said,  (Declare (O Muhammad ) unto My servants, that truly, I am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. And that My torment is indeed the most painful torment.) (15:49-50)

🔹Allah SWT said, (Surely, your Lord is swift in retribution, and certainly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.) (6:165)

🔹Hence, Rabb contains a warning while Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim encourages.

🏼 Further, Muslim recorded in his Sahih that the Messenger of Allah SAW said, (If the believer knew what punishment Allah SWT has, none would have hope in acquiring His Paradise, and if the disbeliever knew what mercy Allah SWT  has, none will lose hope of earning His earning.)

AN AYAH A DAY

    
      LESSON 9

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـنِ الرَّحِيمِ

      THE VIRTUE OF AL-FATIHAH

 ﴿الْحَمْدُ للَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَـلَمِينَ ﴾

(2. Al-Hamd be to Allah, the Lord of all that exists.)

THE MEANING OF AL-HAMD

🏼”The meaning of ﴿الْحَمْدُ للَّهِ﴾ (Al-Hamdu Lillah) (all praise and thanks be to Allah) is: all thanks are due purely to Allah, alone, not any of the objects that are being worshipped instead of Him, nor any of His creation. These thanks are due to Allah’s innumerable favors and bounties, that only He knows the amount of. Allah’s bounties include creating the tools that help the creation worship Him, the physical bodies with which they are able to implement His commands, the sustenance that He provides them in this life, and the comfortable life He has granted them, without anything or anyone compelling Him to do so. Allah also warned His creation and alerted them about the means and methods with which they can earn eternal dwelling in the residence of everlasting happiness. All thanks and praise are due to Allah for these favors from beginning to end.”

🏼Further , ﴿الْحَمْدُ للَّهِ﴾ (Al-Hamdu Lillah), that also means, “A praise that Allah praised Himself with, indicating to His servants that they too should praise Him, as if Allah had said, `Say: All thanks and praise is due to Allah.’ It was said that the statement, (All praise and thanks be to Allah), entails praising Allah by mentioning His most beautiful Names and most honorable Attributes. When one proclaims, `All thanks are due to Allah,’ he will be thanking Him for His favors and bounties.”

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PRAISE AND THANKS

🔹Hamd is more general, in that it is a statement of praise for one’s characteristics, or for what he has done. Thanks are given for what was done, not merely for characteristics.

THE STATEMENT OF SALAF ABOUT AL-HAMD

Hafs mentioned that `Umar RA said to `Ali RA, “We know La ilaha illallah, Subhan Allah and Allahu Akbar. What about Al-Hamdu Lillah” `Ali RA said, “A statement that Allah liked for Himself, was pleased with for Himself and He likes that it be repeated.” Also, Ibn `Abbas RA said, “Al-Hamdu Lillah is the statement of appreciation. When the servant says Al-Hamdu Lillah, Allah SWT says, `My servant has praised Me.” Ibn Abi Hatim recorded this Hadith.

THE VIRTUES OF AL-HAMD

 Ibn Majah recorded that Anas bin Malik RA said that the Messenger of Allah SAW said,

(No servant is blessed by Allah and says,`Al-Hamdu Lillah’, except that what he was given is better than that which he has himself acquired.)

 🔹AL BEFORE HAMD ENCOMPASSES ALL TYPES OF THANKS AND APPRECIATION FOR ALLAH

🏼The letters Alif and Lam before the word Hamd serve to encompass all types of thanks and appreciation for Allah, the Exalted.

A Hadith stated, «اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ كُلُّهُ، وَلَكَ الْمُلْكُ كُلُّهُ، وَبِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ، وَإِلَيْكَ يُرْجَعُ الْأَمْرُ كُلُّهُ»

(O Allah! All of Al-Hamd is due to You, You own all the ownership, all types of good are in Your Hand and all affairs belong to You.)
